When you are about to undertake an activity, make sure you are expecting a great result. So many franchisees are about to do something, say a new marketing strategy, and before they even begin they are already making statements such as ‘This probably won’t work, but I’ll give it a go anyway’.
Do you think an Olympic athlete turns up to the Olympics and says ‘Well, I probably won’t win, but I’ll give it a go anyway’? No they don’t. Even those that don’t have a chance of winning as per the statistics on the competition and their previous results, still go in it to win it. Sometimes, even though all the stats are against them, they could still win and sometimes they do!
Don’t be defeated before you even begin. Always go in thinking that you are going to get the result. Don’t talk yourself out of it before you even start.
