Do you know that no one likes to be sold to?  Lots of people like to buy, but not many like to be sold to.  When you are doing the sales in your business, you need to ensure that you are not making sales ‘pitches’ at your customers.  Customers are pretty savvy and they know when you are pushing them into buying something.  They can also ‘smell’ the desperation on you if you need to make a sale at any cost.

A good way to think of it is to start helping your customers rather than selling to them.  Help your customer make a great buying decision for them and they will be a lot happier than if you are trying to ‘sell’ them into something.
