Too often franchisees just focus on their weaknesses. What they are not good at and what they need to improve. If you want to really take your business to the next level, then focus on your strengths, what you are naturally good at. And yes, we are all good at something!
Having a strength does not mean a talent. A strength can be something that you have learned over time and become good at. Other times it is just something that comes to you naturally.
Your strengths are not always exciting by the way. I find that they are usually the things that you find fairly easy and simple that amazes others you can do. You wonder why everyone can’t do what you are doing because you believe it isn’t hard. That is a strength.
The more you focus on your strengths, the more your business will grow.
You can’t ignore your weaknesses, but you don’t have to become a super star in them either. You just need to get them to a level of pass. Where they are not hindering you in business. If it is a real weakness that is hindering your business then either learn and practice to get better at it or hire someone to do it for you.
What are your strengths? If you are not sure, ask others what they think you are good at because everyone has strengths and natural talents.
