Bonus Tip – How You Start Your Day….
OK, so that’s my 5 tips for working from home and I hope they have helped.
Before I leave you, I thought I would give you a bonus tip.
I suggest you start your work day with some positive rituals that will get you in the right mood to work your business for the day.
A bit like how I suggested to get motivated, you need a few positive things to make sure you start your day on the right foot.
Over the years I’ve done many things and I find that I tend to swap my rituals around. Not daily, but maybe once a quarter I will swap to a new set of rituals so there is no right or wrong with this, just what works for you.
I’ve done 15 minutes of reading, reviewing my goals, reading affirmations, reading positive quotes, watching a video (on YouTube or one that I’ve created myself…. I even once did a video of all my own goals and affirmations!), maybe you have a cuppa on the deck, a guided visualisation or meditation, go for a walk or do Yoga or go for a run. Find something that starts your day and puts you in a positive mood to get to it and make your day effective.
I hope these tips have helped and you might be wondering why I didn’t give you the really common obvious tip about getting dressed for work to start you day…. Why? Because I love to work in my PJ’s … sometimes all day so I’m NEVER going to suggest that one!
