I’m really excited to get back into doing some live workshops. I’ve been so busy over the last few years working with clients, doing franchise trainings and conferences, that I haven’t put on my own workshop in what seems like ages!

This workshop came about from a discussion with a few of my franchisor clients. They had talked to me about how they loved to talk with other franchisors and learn from them. The other point came from a few of them attending some seminars about expanding and growing their franchise business from people who clearly didn’t understand franchising (some didn’t even have a business!) and gave them fairly ‘text book’ type information, not things that would actually work in their business.

I asked them about my thoughts on putting on a workshop and they all agreed they liked the sound of it. Focus on strategies and information that they could apply to their business, things that are currently working, having a workshop atmosphere where we brainstorm and ‘work’ rather than just sit and be spoken at. A place where sharing with others would be encouraged.

So on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th February, from 9am to 5pm at the Grand Chancellor, Surfers Paradise, I’ll be holding a 2 day workshop specifically for franchisors. I’m going to keep the numbers small so that we have the opportunity to workshop rather than it being a seminar. We will be able to do the activities and work on your business right there in those 2 days.

The focus is going to be on expanding and growing your franchise. We will work on recruitment of new franchisees, training those franchisees, getting them up and running in the best way and then of course getting them and keeping them profitable!

This is for Franchisors. You are welcome to bring along a key member or two of your head office team to learn and grow with you, but you have to come with them. This will be designed to help franchisors so you need to be there.
